EUPEC is pleased to announce that it has been awarded by McDermott, the contract for the offshore pipeline coating of the NFPSI1P1 Project. The objective of this project is to sustain the gas production plateau from the Qatargas 1 (QG1) block of the North Field, by installation of two new wellhead platforms and the associated infrastructure to route the gas to the existing processing trains at Qatargas North Field Bravo (NFB) complex.
EUPEC will perform the Anticorrosion and Insulation Coating, Concrete Weight Coating and Anodes Installation on 28” CRA clad pipelines.
EUPEC has been selected for its previous knowledge, competency and experience in anti-corrosion and thermal insulation coatings in multi-layer PP, including solid PP and PP Foam and for its long-term experience in concrete weight coating. EUPEC will be performing the coating activities in its two plants of Grande-Synthe and St-Pol both located in Northern France.
